Are you new to singing?
Singing is sociable and life-affirming. It’s also great for your physical and mental health, whatever your age. Join conductor and voice coach Sarah Latto for a fun and uplifting day. Learn some warm-up techniques, try some harmonies and find your voice! Try you hand at singing the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah.
No previous singing experience is needed, you won’t need to read a music score. Just come along and enjoy the experience.
how much does the event cost?
The Taster Day is free to attend although donations are welcome. You can donate on the day in cash or by card or you can donate through our crowd-funding appeal.
Whether or not you donate, we respectfully request that you only register if you can definitely attend (subject to the unexpected of course). Free events have a reputation of poorer attendance than paid events through cancellations. We will have to restrict numbers in order to ensure Covid safety (see below) and so your registration is important to us! Thank you.
venue and times
The Taster Day will take place at the Elim Pentecostal Church on Bath’s Charlotte Street (almost immediately opposite the Charlotte Street car park main entrance). The doors will be open at 9am for a 10am start. Please arrive in plenty of time. The day will finish around 4pm. Refreshments will be available during the day and we will take a 60 minute lunch break. If all this sounds a little formal, remember the idea is for you to have fun!
Covid Safety
Your safety and the safety of others is important. We will have Covid procedures in place during this event, including social distancing and mask wearing. Everyone who attends must have been vaccinated and have taken a lateral flow test within 24 hours of the event.
How to Register
If you would like to join us, please send an email to paragonsingers@gmail.com stating your name and, if possible, your mobile number (this will be helpful in the event that there are last minute changes). Please also confirm that you are vaccinated and that you will take an LFT ahead of the event.
Data Privacy
