Saturday 21st March 2026 | 7:30pm |

Bath Abbey

Join us in one of Bath’s most inspiring spaces for a promenade concert that surrounds you with sound. Enjoy music we love, from 400-year-old favourites to a brand-new commission, as we welcome back alumni and celebrate 50 years of making music together.

To honour the contribution of much-missed Paragon tenor James Henderson, we will dedicate a new choral work composed by Sarah Dacey to his memory, to be premiered at this anniversary concert in Bath Abbey next March.

We’re grateful to the Hinrichsen Foundation and the Vaughan Williams Foundation for their generous support of this new commission and anniversary concert.

Saturday 11th July 2026 | 7:30pm |St Swithin’s Church, Walcot Street, Bath

Words and music combine in this immersive staged concert exploring Henry Purcell’s life. A new script by Stewart Harcourt weaves together Purcell’s most moving songs and choral works in a portrait of loss, love and the joy of music that endures.

Featuring baroque instrumentalist, soprano and baritone solosists, and brought to life by stage director Ben Mills and Paragon’s acclaimed director Sarah Latto.

We’re planning open rehearsal and singing events as part of this project - more details coming soon!

P.S. Create something special

Ticket sales only cover up to a third of our costs for big orchestral concerts. We believe in sharing quality music with as many people as we can, and providing opportunities for emerging soloists. Every contribution helps make these performances possible and supports the professional musicians who bring them to life. Any support you can give would be truly appreciated in our most ambitious season to date.
